What do you think of people who have tattoos because they look cool?

Why wouldn’t a person who got a tattoo that symbolised or meant something not regret it? I mean if someone got "Only God can judge me."… And this person didn’t believe in this quote, he would regret it too.

Honestly, I don’t give a f’uck why they got it. It’s their body, so I’m not going to constantly harrass them about how stupid I feel it was. I don’t necessarily think that they do need to mean something deep. I love art, so maybe someday I’ll get some of my favorite pieces. If you really love dragonflies, f’uck it, go get a dragonfly tattoo. It’s THEIR body, and if they want to get it removed, THEIR money. Not mine.

What I really think is stupid, is when people care so much what other people are doing with their skin. Interesting question, though. c:

Will tattoo artists do two tattoos in one session for a person who has never gotten a tattoo?

I don’t have any tattoos but I already came up with two tattoo designs. They’re just lettering.

One will go around my wrist.
The other one will be on the inside of my forearm and I want it to take up all the space so it will be big.

My husband finished his sleeve tattoo (like the last 3 hours) and then he went straight to his rib tattoo of his army squad when he went to basic right after and that took like 3 hours.

So it depends on the artist and the availability that they have, and of course how much you can take.

The wrist is a very painful/sensitive spot. I was sweating so bad and I just wanted it over with. It was like a 7/10 on some parts. Especially on the bone and the nerve.

I’m going to be turning 17 in December and I am wanting my first tattoo either on my neck or my inner wrist but notbsure witch will hurt the most. I do not have a good tolerance with pain but I do okay.

Yes tattoos can give you some pain no matter where you put it.
If you want a tattoo on your neck think about putting it on the back of you neck so it’s not too visible. That place can be sensitive as you go closer to the spine.
The wrist can be pain full if it’s going over the bones in the wrist. I haven’t had a Neck Tattoo done yet but from what I have heard I think the neck can be pain full. If you really want it on one location then just man up and do it. Try not to flinch or tense up as they are tattooing you and have some thing to eat before you go, you can even even bring some music or a friend to help you relax.

I’ve been looking for the perfect neck tattoo, something only slightly visible though since I’m only 18 , so I found an alternative by getting it more on the shoulder and less on the neck. I wanted something feminine and pretty but nothing colorful or flashy. I found the most exquisite picture on the web the other day that was absolutely perfect! The only problem is that the image cuts off some of it on the upper arm and I’m not quiet sure how to go about sketching this out. My first tattoo is a quote on my forearms that took very little effort in getting the proper sizing and whatnot. I know I could, and probably should, just take it to the tattooist and have them do it for me but how much would that cost? So I guess my question is should I wing it and attempt to sketch it out myself or should I play it safe and consult with a tattooist? Obviously I know this won’t be cheap, but from someone who has experience with image tattoos just a ballpark on what I should expect would also be great.

Minus the bugs in the image, I love this concept, the chrysanthemums are my birth month flower and the stencil look of the grayscale flowers is perfect! But your thoughts would be taken as well, as I’m aware of my age and the semi-visiblity factor I don’t plan on going into a field where visible tattoos would be prohibited so that isn;t a problem. But I really love the idea of Neck Tattoos so if I was going to get one I figured something like this would satisfy that in a more discrete way.

This isn’t your job. It’s the job of a good custom tattoo artist. They will design it and when you pay for the tattoo, the design is always included. Just make sure the neck flower’s width is the same as the width of your neck or it wont look right.

Look at me…I paid a lot of money for someone with no formal art training to trace a drawing on me and color it in. I think Im an individual but I really just copied everyone else. Yay I’m cool now. Stupid people who think they are cool irritate me.

You think you’re cool because you look down on people who get a tattoo. I would hate looking at your pasty, unmarked skin. Really? Grow up. Don’t you have bigger things to worry about, you little girl? Pick you battles.

How much do chest tattoos hurt?

I’m planning on getting a tattoo which will be an ankh symbol intertwined with a sankofa symbol on my chest below my collarbone. I’m really excited, but I’m also worried about the pain because this will be my first tattoo and I don’t know what to expect. How much do chest tattoos hurt? Would it be better to get a smaller tattoo somewhere else to prepare myself?

hm, I don’t know why you would tattoo your genitals. What if they later in life became infected from the Red Dye #9? You would loose your manhood. And to answer the question. All tattoos hurts, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Just depends on the person depends on how much it will hurt.

I have two star tattoos, one on each hip. They are poorly done, and i regret getting them, i love tattoos, and they are addicting. Any ideas on cute matching tattoos to cover the ones i have?

Go chat with a few tattoo artists, and have them look at the existing tattoos that you’re wanting to have covered. They will be able to give suggestions as to what they can do to cover them and what your color options will be. View sample pictures of their work and get recommendations from other people who have tattoos that you like. I’m getting ready to cover one that I have. The artist I’m working with says that I can use a product called Wrecking Balm (website below) to fade the existing tattoo and open more options for what I can get over it, or I can do a tribal butterfly in it’s place. My color options are limited because of how dark the one I already have is.
