it would depend on where you are at now in development and where you want to be. There are many good routines and philosophies on how to build muscle and they would vary based on your goals and equipment available. It is also advisable to carefully plan your routine to be sure all muscle groups are worked equally and you keep a natural balance within the muscle groups. Monitor your growth and development over time to be able to determine what/when you need to mix things up.

Start slow, be consistent, and dedicate yourself to not only the lifting but also get enough rest, good diet, and lots of water. Many things can influence a good routine and the amount of progress you will get is totally dependent upon your metabolism and your dedication.

There are generic routines available online that can be applied but I would tailor those routines with what your goals are. People are too different to expect identical results with the same routine. If you have specific questions you can use the link in my profile.
