Do you think its harder to train a girl or a boy? I know my daughter is ready since she has gone many times on the potty and she understands. But she is only 18 months so it is kindof hard because she doesnt really let me know when she has to go. Is 18 months too young to start Potty Training? Should I wait longer? Ive have been taking to the potty for the last months when I can but now that the holidays are over I will have more time.
I started my daughter when she was 18 months and she went back and forth, sometimes she loved using the potty and would even say she had to go, other times she hated sitting on the potty. This went on until she turned two. I then placed the top of her potty seat onto the toilet and she loved it, I then kept her in nothing but panties and she has been doing so good, she turned two last month. I still put pull ups on her at night but most days she wakes up, it is dry.
